Must be black South African owned businesses

In operation for at least 24 months and operate in any of the 9 provinces

Doing business in one of these sectors:

  • Trade and Services
  • Construction / Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Agriculture / Agri-processing

You will need your official company registration documents (CIPC documents). Please ensure that they are no bigger than 5MB as larger documents cannot be uploaded onto the portal.

After completing all the steps you will receive a final message to say that you have completed the registration and entry process. You will also receive an official confirmation email.
Yes you can as long as it is before the closing date.
You will receive an official email notification from our Eskom Development Foundation team, informing you that you have been selected as a finalist for the event. Please note that the closing date for the competition is 17 October, whereafter the judging will take place. You will receive the confirmation email and also instructions on the process forward.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and regulations around events, the BIC Awards will once again be a virtual event. If you are a finalist, our team will be in contact with you beforehand to do pre-recorded interviews that will also be showcased during the event. You will, therefore, not be required to attend in person, however you will be able to attend virtually.
